Jammu, July 6: In a function here today the new team of Inner Wheel Club (IWC) has taken its charge under its new President Lalita Gupta.
While taking the new assignment Lalita Gupta vowed to take the organisation to newer heights and thanked all the members for reposing faith on her.
About 80 participants mostly ladies were present on this occasion.
Chanchal Padha, Ex-AWWA Secretary and IWC Marriage Councillor for Jammu Province was the chief guest on this occasion.
The function started with a prayer after lighting of ceremonial lamp.
Pooja Malhotra, outgoing President of IWC delivered the welcome address while the annual report of the Club was read by Reva Sharma and some new members also joined the Club on this occasion.
Those who contributed to the Club were felicitated on this occasion.
Club’s office bearer Santosh Gupta while addressing the gathering said that IWC Jammu is working under the directions of International Women Club which is active in 103 countries of the world.
She further informed that the Club has successfully completed 35 projects for the welfare of women.
The event was organiged by Meena Jaggi and Navneet Kokreja and vote of thanks was presented by Preeti Gandoh.
