POONCH, July 13: Three persons were injured, one of them seriously, when a Tata mobile vehicle skidded off the road and fell into a gorge in Shahpur area of district Poonch this morning.
The mishap took place when the ill-fated vehicle No. JK-12/ 1496 was on way to Poonch from Shahpur. The road was slippery due to rain. The driver Abdul Ghani, also hailing from Shahpur, lost control on the vehicle and it landed into a gorge.
All the three persons on board including driver were injured and they were removed to District Hospital, Poonch. Seriously injured Mazar Din, son of Atta Mohd, resident of Shahpur was referred to GMC Hospital Jammu while Nazir Hussain, 45 and driver Abdul Gani (22) were undergoing treatment at Poonch hospital.
