Sagar takes stock of developmental projects

SRINAGAR, Dec 22: Minister for Rural Development, Panchayati Raj and Parliamentary Affairs, Ali Mohammad Sagar today visited various areas of Khanyar Assembly Constituency and took stock of the ongoing developmental projects.
Mr. Sagar inspected the ongoing construction of additional complex of JLNM Hospital at Rainawari coming up at a cost of Rs. 37 crore. On this occasion, the Minister was informed that Rs. 32 crore has been spent on project.
The Minister also took stock of the facilities being provided to the patients in the Hospital. He went around the wards and enquired about the treatment from the patients.
On the occasion, Mr. Sagar said that Government has been putting every possible effort to upgrade the infrastructure in various health institutions of the Valley.
The Minister also visited Rajouri Kadal and reviewed the pace of progress of Community Centre. He also reviewed the construction work of Ziarat Makhdoom Sahib (RA) at Makhdoom Mandoo. He urged upon the officers to speed up the construction work.
Mr. Sagar also reviewed the ongoing beautification project of Naqashband Sahib area. On the occasion Mr. Sagar said that Government is committed to develop all historical places and shrines in Srinagar city, adding this will create ample opportunities for tourist influx in the Shahr-i-Khas.
Various public deputations also met the Minister and projected their demands.
