BATOTE, Dec 23: MLA Ramban Ashok Kumar was on a spree of inaugurations today.
He first inaugurated a Hand Pump in the premises of the Degree College and then a Tempo Traveller Ambulance costing Rs 8 lakh, funded from the Constituency Development Fund (CDF). The MLA handed over keys of the ambulance in the presence of Dr M.A Bhat,Chief Medical Officer, Dr Sindhoor Singh Incharge Medical Superintendent, Dr. Manzoor Ahmed Shah Medical Officer ISM, Dr Shabir Ahmed and other staff members of the District Hospital, Ramban besides the local prominent citizens and officers. Now there are six ambulances in the hospital.
Later, the MLA inaugurated a 400 KVAtransformer in the town and a Mast Light. Both were also funded from his CDF. He inaugurated a newly laid Ramban- Sincha High Tension Power Line, which was shifted from a congested and a long route, funded through BRGF. At last he inaugurated the construction of the 15 Km long Seri(from highway)-Sincha link road under Rs.10.5 cr PMGSY project.
