JAMMU, July 20: A victim of road accident succumbed to his injuries at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), here today.
According to a police official, a man identified as Sham Lal (32) son of Tara Chand, resident of Kathua was shifted here at GMCH on July 17 after he received serious injuries in a road mishap at Madeen.
“However, the man succumbed to his injuries today at about 9:50 AM. After completion of all medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites”, he said, adding, concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
