Darbar-e-Younsia holds congregation

JAMMU, Dec 23: The Darbar Aaliya-e-Younsia of Kupwara organized a huge congregation at Gujjar Colony, Channi Himmat today.
The congregation was held under the leadership of Alhaj Peer Mian  Maqbool-ur-Rehman Naqshbandi, Sajjadanishin.
A large number of devotees from various parts of the State and adjoining States like Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Punjab etc. attended the congregation.
During the congregation, scholars threw light on the relevance of Sufism and importance of spirituality in present day world and underscored the need for giving it a thought when the whole human society has been marred by loss of moral and ethical values, chaos & disorder.
During his address, the Sajadanishin focused on Mujahida Nafsani and Mujahida Jismani and emphasized the need on serving humanity and nurturing human values in present age of crisis and conflict. He also pleaded for shunning discrimination of all types, helping the needy, feeding hungry and being sympathetic towards oppressed and depressed classes.
Minister for PHE, Irrigation & Flood Control, Taj Mohi-ud-Din visited the congregation and prayed for peace and welfare of the State and society.
The congregation ended with collective prayers led by Alhaj Peer Mian Maqbool and blessings were sought from Almighty.
During the congregation free food was distributed among the devotees for whom many community kitchens were also set up.
