Edible, non-edible oils remain steady in thin trade

NEW DELHI, July 21: Steady conditions prevailed at the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today as prices of edible and non-edible oils, after moving in a narrow range on scattered deals, settled at last levels.
Traders said, adequate stocks position against sporadic demand kept edible and non-edible oils at previous levels.
Following are today’s quotations (in Rs per quintal):
Oilseeds: Mustard seed Rs 2,950-3,050 and Groundnut seed Rs 2,150-2,900, Vanaspati Ghee (15-litre tin) Rs 800-1,000.
Edible oils: Groundnut mill delivery (Gujarat) Rs 8,600, Groundnut Solvent Refined (per tin)  Rs 1,750-1,850, Mustard expeller (Dadri) Rs 8,000, Mustard Pakki Ghani (per tin) Rs 1,285-1,330, Mustard  Kachi Ghani (per tin) Rs 1,335-1,435, Sesame mill delivery Rs 10,000, Soybean Refined mill delivery (Indore) Rs 7,650, Soybean  Degum  (Kandla) Rs 7,250, Crude Palm Oil (Ex-Kandla) Rs 5,500, Cottonseed mill delivery (Haryana) Rs 7,550, Palmolein (RBD) Rs 6,850, Palmolein (Kandla)  Rs 6,900 and Coconut  (per tin) Rs 3,100-3,150.
Non-edible oils: Linseed Rs 9,300, Castor Rs 7,600-7,700, Neem Rs 5,350-5,450. (PTI)
