Connecting remote areas Govt priority: MLC

RAJOURI, July 21:  Senior BJP leader and MLC, Vibodh Gupta today said that providing connectivity to the remote and far flung area, is the top priority of the BJP led Govt at the Centre.
While interacting with the people at Choudhary Nar, Keora and Hartal in Rajouri today, the BJP MLC listened to their grievances and assured them that BJP led government will  do every thing to provide connectivity and other basic amenities to the people.
The MLC said that connecting the unconnected backward areas is Government’s top priority. He said Under “Pardhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana”  Modi Government provided connectivity to unconnected habitation as a part of poverty eradication strategy . The PMGSY boosted road network system in rural areas throughout the country in general and J&K in particular.
He further said that in last four years,  Rajouri also witnessed tremendous growth in road network. Lauding the hard work and commitment of Road Transport and Highway Minister  Nitin Gadkari, Gupta said  Gadkari is working day and night to achieve the dream of all weather road even in the remotest areas of India and his work is even praised by the opposition party leaders.
Accompanied by the people,  Gupta also visited Cremation Ground in  Choudhry Nar.  He expressed his displeasure over the worst condition of road leading to cremation ground  and said traveling on such poor and dilapidated road is  risking ones own life. He expressed anguish against RDD authiorities and assured  the villagers to develop this road.
