SAMBA, July 21: One person died after receiving the electric shock while irrigating his paddy fields in Valori village of Samba district today.
He was identified as Vijay Ram, 50, Son of Roda Ram. He was irrigating his paddy fields when he received electric shock. As soon he switched on the pump he got the electric shock. The farmers working in adjoining fields took him to Primary Health Centre immediately for treatment where doctors declared him as brought dead.
