Mahajan Sabha to serve Amarnath yatries till end of yatra

JAMMU, July 22: Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha, Mahajan Bhawan, Shalamar Road, Jammu, which is serving Amarnath yatries with full dedication, today decided to extend their services to the yatries throughout remaining period of the Yatra.
The decision in this connection was taken during a meeting of the Sabha members held here today during which Om Parkash, general secretary, disclosed that till date more than 30,000 yatries have been served by Mahajan Sabha with tea, food items, besides comfortable stay at Mahajan Bhawan.
He said that a team of dedicated office bearers of Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha headed by Romesh Chander Gupta (president) and closely supervised by Om Parkash Gupta (senior vice-president), has been rendering their services round the clock to make the yatries as comfortable as possible.
Om Parkash further disclosed that many members of the Biradari have offered their services for this noble cause. “Romesh Chander Gupta, Sanjay Gupta, Prof Ved Gupta, Yash Pal Gupta, Chander Mohan Gupta, Parshotam Gupta, Satish Vaid and friends have volunterred themselves to bear the full cost of langer on July 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21 and 22, respectively”, he added.
He said being centrally located in Jammu city, Jammu Central Mahajan Sabha is a center of attraction for most of the yatries coming daily for registration, as the facility has been provided by the Government here.
