DODA, July 23: The newly appointed Principal of Government Medical College (GMC) Doda Prof (Dr) Tariq Azad took stock of the ongoing work of GMC, here.
A detailed meeting was held under the chairmanship of Principal Dr tariq regarding the construction work of new GMC Doda and other related issues. Superintending Engineer (SE) R&B Doda, Medical Superintendent (MS) District Hospital (DH) Doda, Xen R&B, Xen JKPCC and ADMO Doda attended the meeting.
Dr Azad visited to the construction site of GMC Doda along with SE R&B Doda, MS DH Doda and Xen R&B Doda.
After taking stock of the present status of GMC Doda, a meeting was held with the Deputy Commissioner (DC) Doda, Simrandeep Singh for apprising him regarding the bottle necks in the construction work.
DC Simrandeep Singh assured full cooperation to the Principal in solving the issues related to construction and allied works of GMC Doda.
Earlier, Dr Tariq held introductory meet with the MS DH Doda Dr Parvez Iqbal Wani, consultants, medical officers and paramedical staff of District Hospital. Principal also inspected SNCU, labour room, OT and indoor block of the hospital.
