R.S PURA, July 26: A distribution cum fitment camp was organized here today by Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA) at Government Boys Middle School to distribute various assistive devices to the Children with Special Needs (CWSN) hailing from zone R.S Pura and Miran Sahib.
ZEO R.S Pura, Kamla Devi along with ZEO Miran Sahib, Haqiqat Aara coordinated in the camp under the guidance of CEO Jammu, Joginder Sudan.
SDM R.S Pura, Naresh Kumar Sharma was the Chief Guest on the occasion while State Coordinator SSA, T.R Magotra, was the Guest of Honour.
District SSA Coordinator, Gopal Dass, Resource Person, Miss Neha Kalra, Special Educators and I/C BMS Mill Area, Rajesh Kumar were also present.
The assistive devices that were distributed among CWSN included wheel chairs, tricycles, MSIED kits, hearing aids, surgical shoes, callipers and crutches.
These children were orthopedically impaired, hearing impaired, intellectually impaired and also included those suffering from chronic diseases like Cerebral Palsy etc.
About 30 students along with their parents attended the camp.
