POONCH, July 27: Continuing its efforts to root out the menace of drugs, Excise sleuths today destroyed illicit Bhung (Cannabis) in Qazimorah area of Poonch and adjoining areas.
The Excise team led by Insp Mohd Arif, on the directions of Syed Mureed Hussain Shah, DEC (Executive) Jammu and under the Supervision of Farooq Choudhary, ETO destroyed illicit bhang from 50 kanal of State land around schools, Ziyarat and other isolated places. Posters were also distributed among local and pasted at prominent places to create awareness among masses about ill effects of drugs. Volunteers of local Youth Association also rendered their services during this operation.
