KATHUA, July 27: A new model legal awareness camp was organized at Govt Boys Higher Secondary School Kathua here today.
The camp was held under the chairmanship of Sanjeev Gupta, Chairman District Legal Services Authority (Principal, District and Sessions Judge), with coordination of Kewal Singh, Principal, Higher Secondary School.
The objective of the programme was to aware the students about their legal rights and other schemes which are launched by the National Legal Services Authority. Sunil Sangra, Sub Judge / Spl Mobile Magistrate Kathua delivered the lecture to the students and also discussed about anti-ragging laws. Munish Kumar Manhas, District Mobile Magistrate also addressed the students. Many retainer lawyers of the District legal Service Authority also participated in the programme.
