KATRA, July 28: Police today arrested a drug peddler and seized narcotic substance from his possession, here today.
A Police party of PP Banganga apprehended Vikram Singh, son of Dhani Ram of Jungle Gali and recovered 250 gm of Charas like substance and 800 capsules Tramadol Hydrochloride (HCL) from his possession. Besides, six smart phones of different brands were also recovered from the said accused.
A case FIR number 156/2018, under section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered in this connection at Police Station Katra.
Meanwhile, a youth was found dead under mysterious circumstances at Old Road Nomain, Katra, here this morning.
The deceased was identified as Raj Mohd (22), son of Taj Din of Latori, Katra. Police shifted the dead body to hospital for postmortem and registered a case in this connection for further investigation.
