Ganga lays foundation stone of Community Hall, reviews development works

JAMMU, July 29: MLA Vijaypur and former Minister, Chander Prakash Ganga today laid foundation stone for construction of a community hall at village Kamala and donated five trucks of bricks for the building.
The MLA expressed hope that the hall will serve as a multi-purpose utility for the people facilitating them organise different events here.
After laying the foundation stone, the MLA convened a public meeting in the village and took stock of grievances of the locals. He also had a detailed review of development works being executed in the area and sought public feedback on status and speed of these works. He exhorted upon the people to treat the common development works being executed in their respective areas as their own works as they are the only beneficiaries of the same.
He asked them to keep a strict watch over the implementation status of development works in their respective areas to ensure that quality assets are created.
The villagers expressed gratitude to the MLA for all the development works done in their respective areas and assured their complete cooperation in smooth and successful implementation of Government schemes for accelerated growth.
The locals projected several demands before the MLA including construction of a bathing ghat at Kamala village, beautification of pond in the area besides others.
Meanwhile, a delegation of Prajpati Biradari from Kamala village called on the MLA and apprised him of several issues regarding welfare and development of their community in particular and others in general.
The Committee of the Biradari was comprised of T. R. Changotra president, Uttam Chand, Roop Lal Changotra, Mohan Lal Changotra, Parshotam Lal, Pritam Dass,Tilak Raj, Kuldeep Raj,  Romesh Lal and Deepak Kumar.
Others who were present on the occasion were Rashpal Verma Ex Chairman OBC Board and State president OBC Morcha, Keshav Sharma, Member State Working Committee, Amit Dubey district president, BJYM, Shamsher Singh, Subash Chander, Parshotam Lal,  Sodagar Mal, Sardari Lal, Master Mohan Lal etc.
