RAJOURI, July 30: The Police today arrested an absconder who was wanted in a criminal case but was evading his arrest for last more than eight years.
He has been identified as Mohd Azam, son of Abdul Rashid, a resident of Sain Samat in Thannamandi.
The police said the wanted accused was involved in case FIR No. 102/2011 U/S 341/323 RPCs of Police Station, Manjakote and was arrested today by a team headed by SHO Rajouri, Tahir Khan from Rajouri town. The warrant of his arrest was issued by Special Magistrate, Rajouri.
