Sharnarthi Intellectuals Forum condemns kidnapping of Sikh girls

JAMMU, Aug 3: All J&K POJK Sharnarthi Intellectual Forum in a meeting here, today held under the chairmanship of advocate Amrik Singh, president of the Forum has expressed grave concern over series of cases of kidnapping of Sikh community minor girls by some goons in Kashmir Valley and termed it a deep rooted conspiracy against the community.
They termed the conspiracy a handiwork of some frustrated politicians of the Valley and that of militant outfits to create internal disturbances and unrest in Valley  and force the exodus of the members of Sikh community like that of KPs.
The Forum in an appeal to the State Government especially the Governor, N N Vohra has urged him to provide security to minorities in the Valley. They said in case the preventive measures are not taken in time such acts will have serious repercussions in future across the country.
The meeting said that the act is aimed at creating havoc in the Valley and convert it into a Islamic State by fundamentalist elements but they will never succeed in their game plan.
Those who attended the meeting included Surjit Singh general secretary of the Forum, Ramnik Singh, Raja Singh, Fateh Singh , all members of DGPC Jammu,  Paramjeet Singh ex Corporator,  Jarnail Singh Khalsa, Paramjit Singh Shingari, Kuljeet Singh, Jagjit Singh, Bhupidner Singh and others.
