LATTI, Aug 11: A mobilization drive under Jammu Kashmir State Rural Livelihood Mission (JKSRLM) was conducted in Latti Gram Panchayat of erstwhile Dudu Basantgarh block.
The drive was attended by a large number of Self Help Group members of JKSRLM Basantgarh.
Prominent social activist and educationist, Kasturi Lal Gupta from Latti, local Sarpanch, elders of the society, PRP Nisar Ahmad and Programme Manager for Ramnagar and Basantgarh Zahoor A Paul were special guests on the occasion.
While speaking to the gathering, the Programme Manager laid stress upon enjoining of all poor rural women into the fold of JKSRLM UMEED.
Kasturi Lal Gupta assured full support to the Programme and emphasized upon providing more exposure to the women by exposing them to various livelihoods trainings outside the State.
