UDHAMPUR, Aug 18: Expressing deep concern over the scarcity faced by the general public of Udhampur constituency, former MLA and president NPP Balwant Singh Mankotia today said that development of Udhampur constituency was eclipsed completely.
He was leading a deputation of Bashore village of Udhampur constituency, which met with officers of PDD and apprised the concerned authorities of the problems being faced by them besides handing over a memorandum.
Mankotia said that the problems of the people should be solved soon as they are facing hardships due to the low voltage in the area.  He demanded that a new transformer should be installed in the village and the problems of the people should be looked upon without any delay and political pressure.
Mankotia also conveyed to PHE Deptt of problems being faced by the people due to irregular supply of water and appealed the authorities concerned to provide regular water supply. He expressed deep anxiety and said that whole Udhampur constituency was facing the scarcity of water and light which is clearly showing the failure of the local representative to deal with the problems of common public.
Mankotia alleged that development of Udhampur constituency was eclipsed completely and the sitting representatives have failed to fulfill the basic needs of water and light of common public.  He warned the officers of concerned departments not to come under pressure of any political party while addressing the difficulties being faced by people.
