JAMMU, Aug 18: In a meeting Retired Un-regularised Electrical Engineers here today constituted a Committee with Suraj Prakash Gupta as its Convener, B.S Jaggi as Co-Convener (Jammu), Bhasir Ahmed Bawa as Co-Convener (Kashmir), Manmohan Singh Treasurer (Jammu) and Daljit Singh as Treasurer (Kashmir).
The Committee will take up the matter with Government at different level regarding prolonged delay in regularisation of the services of these engineers at different levels and denial of consequent pension benefits.
A handout stated that although engineers have retired at higher levels of XEN, SE and CE but their services have been regularised only upto the level of AEE/AE thereby depriving them of certain benefits.
