JAMMU, Aug 18: A woman from RS Pura succumbed to her burn injuries at a hospital in Ludhiana.
According to a police official, the woman identified as Suman Devi (45) wife of Tarsem Singh, a resident of RS Pura, who had suffered about 70% burn injuries at her residence on August 11 when a fire broke out in the kitchen of her home due to leakage of LPG, succumbed to her injuries yesterday at about 5 AM in DMC Ludhiana.
“Late last night, her body was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu and today after postmortem, the body was handed over to its legal heirs for last rites”, he said, adding, the concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
