JAMMU, Dec 27: Bus Stand police today arrested two narcotics smugglers and recovered 6000 intoxicant capsules from their possession, which they had smuggled from a neighbouring State.
Arrested narcotics smugglers have been identified as Sunny Singh, son of Khazar Singh and Vipan Bali, son of Sham Sunder Bali, both residents of Rehari.
Police said both the narcotics smugglers were nabbed at Bus Stand soon after they boarded off a bus from Punjab. They were arrested and a consignment of 6000 intoxicant capsules was recovered from their possession, which had been concealed in 59 packets.
Police parties under the supervision of SDPO City Kulbir Handa made the arrests. A case under NDPS Act has been registered against the accused.
Mr Handa said Sunny Singh had earlier also been arrested for smuggling of intoxicant capsules.
