NEW DELHI: Two medium intensity earthquakes shook Andaman and Nicobar islands today while a minor one was experienced in Rajasthan.
There was no immediate report of any damage.
According to National Centre for Seismology, the quake in Rajasthan, measuring 3.7 on richter scale, was epicentred in Jhunjhunu and occurred at 3.25 am.
The other two quakes shook the Andaman and Nicobar archipelago in the evening.
The quakes of intensity of 5.5 and 5.7 hit the islands at 4:19 pm and 5:48 pm respectively.
A high-intensity quake measuring 7 also hit Peru-Brazil border at 2:34 pm today. (AGENCIES)
