JAMMU, Aug 24: Bishnah police arrested an accused involved in attempt to murder case.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Bishnah Police Station conducted raid and arrested an accused involved in attempt to murder case.
The accused has been identified as Pankaj Singh alias Panku, son of Gopal Singh, a resident of Kotli Mian Fateh Tehsil RS Pura.
He was involved in case registered under FIR Number 42/18 under Section 4/25 Arms Act with Police Station Bishnah and was absconding since long. He was also wanted in various cases registered with different police stations.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
Police team led by SHO Bishnah Inspector Rajesh Sharma and assisted by SI Ankuj Kumar made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Sourabh Prashar, SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
