Youth nabbed with sharp edged weapon

JAMMU, Aug 25: RS Pura police foiled a murder plot by arresting a youth along with sharp edged weapon.
As per police sources, on reliable information, a team from RS Pura Police Station laid a naka near Purana Pind Chowk and asked a youth to stop for checking.
On seeing police cops, the youth escaped from the spot. Stinking something fishy, the cops intercepted the youth after a brief chase.
During checking, police recovered a sharp edged weapon from the possession of the youth and arrested him.
The arrested person has been identified as Parveen Kumar alias Peenu, son of Mohinder Lal, a resident of Chak Bhaktawar, RS Pura.
The accused was on his way to eliminate his rival, but police foiled his bid and arrested him.
A case under FIR Number 109/18 under Section 4/25 Arms Act has been registered at RS Pura Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by Head Constable HC Neeraj Kumar foiled the murder bid and arrested the accused under the supervision of SHO RS Pura Inspector Bishnesh Kumar, SDPO RS Pura Sourabh Prashar, SP Headquarters RC Kotwal and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
