Lal Singh gears up for Sept 23 Jammu prog

KATHUA, Sept 2: After conducting a series of bike rallies former minister Choudhary Lal Singh conducted a monthly meeting of Dogra Swabhiman Sangathan here today.
The meeting was conducted under the aegis of Dogra Swabhimaan Sangathan, at his Kathua residence. Sarpanchs, Panchs and a large number of people hailing from various Panchayats attended the meeting where he hailed the decision of the holding a series of bike rallies at various districts.
A large number of youth participated in the rallies led by MLA Ch Lal Singh who was also seen riding on a bike in his traditional Dogra dress and the youth accompanying him were raising slogans like “Lal Singh ji Aage Bado Hum Aap ke Saath Hein’,’ Jammu Chalo Jammu Chalo, 23 September Ko Jammu Chalo’,’ CBI Enquiry Le ke rahenge’, ‘Maharaja ki Janamdin ki Chutti Le ke Rahenge” .
Earlier, the people of the Kathua district welcomed Ch Lal Singh and assured all support for this ongoing movement of Dogras.
Lal Singh while addressing the large meeting reiterated his commitment for the cause of Dogras and assured that he will fight for the plight of Dogras till his last breath. He further said that DSS is committed to its vision document which was released on July 22, 2018.
While referring the Rassana case, Lal Singh asserted that J&K Police and other agencies who are investigating must come with concrete base for providing the justice to the victim and her family. He said that CBI inquiry is the only way to solve the case in a transparent manner. Saying that DSS will never tolerate any kind of regional discrimination, Lal Singh said that we will fight for the rights of the Dogras as Jammu and its people suffered a lot and always been neglected since decades by Kashmir centric politicians and successive Governments.
He gave a clarion call to all the people to march for Jammu on Sept 23, to commemorate the birth anniversary of Maharaja Hari Singh and to show solidarity with the victims of the Rassana case and also to serve the final ultimatum to the Govt’s both at the State and the Centre for accepting the burning popular demand for CBI probe in Rasana case.
