BJP Jammu West holds “Karyakarta Sammelan”

JAMMU, Sept 5: Gearing up for Urban Local Bodies (ULB) elections, BJP district Jammu West held a Karyakarta Sammelan here at Rehari today which was addressed by senior party leaders.
BJP State president ,Ravinder Raina (MLA), MP (Lok Sabha) Jugal Kishore Sharma and former Minister & MLA Jammu West ,Sat Sharma. State vice-president Parmod Kapahi, State secretary & Prabhari Jammu West, Parduman Singh, Mahila Morcha State president, Rajni Sethi and district president, Jammu West ,Ayodhya Gupta were among the senior leaders who addressed the Sammelan.
Ravinder Raina, while addressing the activists, termed the Sammelan as interactive session to discuss the ways and means for strengthening the base of organization. He said that the BJP is holding these programmes in every constituency. He said that the BJP is an ideology based party, which never compromised on its principles. He prompted all the party activists to raise the issues of public and personal concerns in this Sammelan.
Raina focussed on the “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas” while interacting with the Karyakartas. He said that Prime Minister, Narendra Modi is working for the welfare of the masses. While highlighting the significance of Panchyat and Municipal elections, he said these are basic institutes of democracy which needed to be strengthened. He said that that “we must always bear in mind the basic principle of “Booth Jeeto, Chunaav Jeeto”, while reaching out to the ground”. Elated with the enthusiasm shown by the party activists, Raina claimed that the BJP is going to sweep the ULB elections.
Jugal Kishore Sharma, in his address, applauded the positive works done by party leaders at the ward and booth level. He said that “we don’t have any time to sit back and relax in this high time”. He said that we must hasten the pace of development work in the society and focus on the development works as well as Centrally sponsored schemes for the benefit of general masses.
Sat Sharma, while addressing the gathering, said that it is extremely necessary to continuously interact with the party activists. He said that as an elected representative, he is working tirelessly for the upgradation of facilities in the Constituency. He expressed confidence that BJP will secure good number of seats in approaching ULB elections. “We are a family and must support each other in the elections”, he added.
Ayodhya Gupta, earlier welcomed all the senior leaders of the party in the Sammelan.
Rajinder Sharma, Sanjay Baru, Veenu Khanna, Chander Mohan Gupta, Munish Sharma, Jaidev Rajwal, Arvind Gupta, Sanjay Khanna, Dr. Pardeep Mahotra and others attended the Sammelan.
