JAMMU, Sept 9: Vitasta Samaj Sewa (VSS) has expressed grave concern over the delay in issuance of selection list of the migrant candidates by SSRB who had applied under PM package for various posts in Kashmir Valley.
In a joint statement the president of the Samaj, Chand Ji Khar and its senior leader, Ashok Koul urged the SSRB to issue the list without further delay. They said despite the assurances of the Government that first phase of selection candidates list will be issued by August 31 and second phase by September 15 nothing was done in this regard so far.
He said till date no headway has been made in this regard with the result the candidates who had applied for various posts under the package are in great distress and dilemma.
The Samaj leaders in an appeal to Governor, S P Malik have south his immediate intervention in the matter and urged him that the concerned recruiting agency be issued directives to release the list without further delay. They said some one within the SSRB is sabotaging the issuance of the list of the selected candidates.
The Samaj leaders have also made an appeal to Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner M L Raina to allot the quarters which have been occupied by those people and kept under lock who have since constructed there houses and where residing in them to those poor families and destitute who have no source of income and were paying huge rent outside which they can’t afford.
