KISHTWAR, Dec 31: Former Minister and MLA Inderwal G M Saroori during his extensive tour visited Sarthal, Angara and Chatroo area of district Kishtwar where he inaugurated the newly constructed Government High School Sarthal building.
Saroori took stock of all the ongoing development works in the area. He stressed upon all departments to take every possible step for early redressal of grievances of public and particularly desired that Rural Development Department (RDD) should make early payment to job cards holder who have completed the assigned job. He also desired the district administration to remain alert during the winter session for tacking with the situation.
Saroori inspected 12 km under construction Thal-Kwath road at Chatroo and interacted with the local people who were demanding construction of a zig, which will connect Neera and Durbeel area. Assuring to fulfill the demand, Saroori said that he was fully committed for the betterment of people living in the rural areas of Inderwal constituency and reiterated his commitment to provide every nook and corner of the constituency with road connectivity. He asked the concerned officers to redouble their efforts in completing the construction work and other ongoing developmental works in the area at the earliest. Senior Congress leader including Mohd Iqbal Keen, Mohd Shafi Saroori, Hens Raj, Choudhary Abdul Karim, Mohd Aslam, Tariq Wani, Ghulam Rasool, Gain Chand, Gh Rasool Batt, Haji Ghulam Qadir Sheikh, Ch Mohd Ibrahim, Mohd Iqbal, Mohd Shafi, Shamasdin. Gh Nabi Dar and officers of various department accompanied Saroori during his tour.
