Drug peddler arrested with intoxicant tablets

JAMMU, Sept 14: Rehari police arrested a drug peddler and recovered large quantity of intoxicant tablets from his possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Rehari Police Post laid a naka and intercepted a pedestrian, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police recovered 450 intoxicant tablets from the possession of the pedestrian and arrested him.
The accused has been identified as Vishal Gandotra, son of late Deena Nath, a resident of Mubarak Mandi, Jammu.
A case under FIR Number 142/18 under Section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at Pacca Danga Police Station and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Rehari Police Post SI Mukesh Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Pacca Danga Inspector Virender Gupta, SDPO City Varun Jandial, Incharge SP City GL Sharma and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
