NOWSHERA, Sept 15: A minor boy was drowned in a Nallah in Pukharni area near the Line of Control in Nowshera sector today.
A police spokesman said that 9-year-old Mohd Irfan, son of Zaffar Iqbal, resident of Pukharni village near Jhangar had gone with his cattle for grazing in the nearby forest area. He started bathing in a nearby Nallah and drowned in the deep water. Later, his family members started his search and the recovered his dead body floating in the Nallah, trapped in rocks.
