Natrang stages play ‘Bade Bhai Saheb’

JAMMU, Sept 16: Theatre group Natrang here today staged the play ‘Bade Bhai Saheb’ which was based on Munshi Prem Chand’s popular Hindi story and was directed by Neeraj Kant.
The play ‘Bade Bhai Saheb’ tells a story of relationship between two brothers, both living in a hostel to study. The elder brother spends all his time in reading and in serious studies while the younger one is just opposite and is more interested in playing with friends. However, the younger is scared of his elder one and to please him he poses that he is in serious studies. At the end, the elder brother tells his younger one that though their parents might never have gone to school or read even a single book, it is their experience of life that makes them educated.
Artists who performed in the play were Bhisham Gupta, Shivam Singh, Sushant Singh Charak, Zeeshan Haider, and Sheetal Jhadhan.
Supporting staff included Neeraj Kant, Sushant Singh Charak and Mohd Yaseen.
