KUPWARA, Sept 16: Dr Abdul Rashid, Commissioner Secretary Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs accompanied by AD Food Kupwara and other officials today visited Kulangam Granary and FSD Bumhama and border areas of Kupwara to check the dumping position.
Commissioner Secretary visited Lontha granary and other food and kerosene depots. He issued directions for resolution of long pending issue of deteriorated salt lying in Lontha granary.
Commissioner Secretary was informed that almost 85 percent dumping for border areas has been done till date and he directed AD Food to ensure 100 percent dumping within 10 days positively so that people living in far flung areas are provided ration without any inconvenience.
