JAMMU, Sept 17: J&K Accounts Employees Association has alleged that transfer policy as enacted by the Government is not being followed by the officers at the helm of affairs in the Department of Accounts and Treasuries.
In a meeting of the Association held here today under the leadership of KS Pathania, the members discussed their problem s and resolved to brought the same to the notice of higher authorities in the State Administration. The Association also expressed strong resentment against the premature transfer orders issued by the Director General Accounts and Treasuries on pick and choose basis.
The Association pointed out that the State Finance department has framed clear transfer policy with a minimum period of stay of two years or maximum three years at one place but many officials were shifted pre-maturely on Sept 12, 2018 by the DG Accounts and Treasuries. The rules and guidelines were set aside. They sought intervention of the Advisor to the Governor in this regard.
