JWAM stages protest, torches Pak flag

JAMMU, Sept 17: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) activists here today staged a protest demonstration against Pakistan for sponsoring terrorism in Jammu and Kashmir.
The protest was held under the leadership of JWAM President, Sunil Dimple wherein the protesters torched Pak flag amidst anti-Pak sloganeering.
The protesters asked the Union Home Minister, Raj Nath Singh to stay for a night at Arnia or R.S Pura and have the firsthand experience of living conditions of border resident.
JWAM President said that border and Line of Control (LoC) residents should be allotted five marla plots at safer places because of frequent ceasefire violations by Pak along Indo-Pak border and LoC.
He further said that border residents in Akhnoor, Chhamb, Palanwala, Kana Chak, Samba, Hira Nagar, Kathua, Arnia, R.S Pura, Rajouri and Poonch are constantly living under the fear of death.
He further said that Rohingiyas and Bangladeshis should be immediately deported from Jammu as they are a big security threat to the peace here.
The JWAM leader also demanded surgical strikes on Pakistan and liberation of Pakistan occupied Kashmir, Gilgit and Blauchistan from the illegal occupation of Pakistan.
He demanded that entire Jammu and Kashmir State should be handed over to army and a holiday should be granted on the birth anniversary of Mahraja Hari Singh.
Prominent among those who were present in the protest demonstration were Harbans Tandon, Rakesh Pandoh, Sat Pal, Chaman Pawar, Dr O.N Pandita, Kulwant Sharma, Dev Raj, Bharat Bhushan Sharma, Kala Kumar, Ashok Khanna, Vicky, Babu, Ram Das, Sanjay Sethi, Rakesh Kumar and others.
