KATHUA, Sept 18: GM Shaheen, president, Janta Dal (United), J&K today appealed the voters of Kathua to vote and support the party in ULB and Panchayat elections, stating that they have already tested PDP-BJP and NC-Congress, which have disappointed them.
Shaheen, while addressing a mammoth gathering here today, said that that having experimented with BJP, Congress, NC and PDP and given them ample opportunities to prove their concern for Jammu, the people of Jammu and Kashmir were an extremely demoralized lot today.
“With Congress having receded into the oblivion during the last four years, the role of BJP had disappointed the people of Jammu to the extent that their faith in the political system had been largely shattered,” he maintained.
He further asserted that people were now eagerly looking forward towards JDU in Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh regions which provided the only ray of hope to the people of the State keeping in view of the people’s requests pouring in on day to day basis from various parts of the State and tremendous response being shown by the urban electorates who were coming forward as volunteers in huge numbers to support the party.
