JAMMU, Jan 12: Seven members of a family were injured in an incident of fire in Doda district.
Police spokesman said that fire was triggered due to a short circuit in the house of Irshad Ahmed Tak in Iqbal Colony area of Bhaderwah, district Doda early this morning when the family was sleeping.
All the injured identified as Rubina Begum, wife of Masood Ali of Ramban, Ghulam Rasool, son of Ghulam Nabi, Numina Irshad, daughter of Irshad Ahmed, Sana, daughter of Irshad Ahmed, Fukraj Begum, wife of Irshad Ahmed, Irshad Ahmed, son of Ghulam Nabi and Burshudu Begum, wife of Ghulam Rasool, all resident of Bhaderwah have been admitted to Government Medical College (GMC) Hospital and were undergoing treatment, when last reports came in.
Meanwhile, Mohd Sharief Niaz, MLA Doda also visited the GMC Hospital and ensured all possible help to the injured persons.
