Parties boycotting polls are enemies of democracy: Ganga

JAMMU, Sept 27: Member Parliament, Jugal Kishore Sharma and former Minister &MLA, Vijaypur, Chander Prakash Ganga, today visited Bari Brahamana, Vijaypur and Ramgarh Municipal Committees and met with the BJP candidates who filed their nomination papers.
As many as 39 candidates including 13 from each Municipal Committee filed their nominations.
The MP and MLA complimented the candidates and expressed hope that all these hard working and dedicated party men will emerge as victorious in these elections and will live up to the expectations of the people of their respective areas. They impressed upon the candidates to strictly adhere to the policies and ideology of BJP and work as servants of the people as service to humanity is service to God which is the fundamental principle of the party.
Ganga, while making a scathing attack on those political entities who are shunning these crucial polls, said that these unscrupulous groups do not want that common people are benefitted through the democratic processes. “These Civic and Panchayat elections would enable the State get crores of rupees, blocked at the Center in the backdrop of delay in holding of these elections, for massive development of urban and rural local bodies”, he added.
The MLA, while talking to media persons on the occasion, expressed confidence that BJP is all set to record an emphatic win in all the three Municipal Committees in the Vijaypur Constituency with massive margin as the party workers are doing commendable job in serving the people. “Our only aim is to ensure that the benefit of all schemes launched by Modi Government should reach to the last man in the last queue”, he affirmed while highlighting the achievements of BJP Government towards welfare and development of poor and needy segments of the society.
Ganga also made a fervent appeal to the people to choose the BJP candidates as their representative keeping in view the notable achievements of BJP towards promoting interests of under privileged sections of the society.
