RAJOURI, Sept 27: The Chief Education Officer (CEO) Rajouri, Lal Hussain today placed four teachers under suspension in Khawas/ Mogla area of Rajouri district.
The action was taken after a team under the supervision of DIET Principal found Govt Primary School Karlai (Mogla) locked at 9.30 am and students waiting for the teachers outside. Both the teachers Mukesh Kumar and Popla Devi were placed under suspension. Teacher Surjeet Singh of GPS Gundi Jattan in Khawas and Santosh Kumari of MS Ranthal, Khwas were also placed under suspension of the basis of public complaints and poor performance. In Gundi school Mid Day Meals was not being provided for the last three months.
The ZEO also with held the salaries of the staff at GPS Sangrore, High School Tredu, and GPS Khetar for poor performance.
