JAMMU, Sept 28: A 65-year-old man was killed today in a road mishap in Janipur area of city outskirts.
“Kali Dass son of Pathu Ram, resident of Main Stop Janipur, suffered serious injuries when today at about 9 PM a car he was driving, was hit by an unknown vehicle near Dream Land School in Old Janipur area”, a police official said.
He said that the injured man was immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he succumbed to his injuries at about 10.10 PM. “The dead body of the deceased has been shifted to mortuary room of the hospital while a case in this connection has been registered and investigations started”, he added.
