JAMMU, Sept 28: All J&K Retired Unregularized Electrical Engineers’ Forum (RUEEF) discussed its demands in a meeting conducted today by convener, Suraj Parkash Gupta.
The speakers discussed threadbare the apathy of the Government shown towards retired electrical engineers by way of depriving them of their due regularization on the posts on which they served before their retirement on superannuation.
It was deliberated that there seems to be policy paralysis during this period, as last time the order of regularization of electrical engineers were issued in the year 2001-02. “What can be more humiliating for electrical engineers than this that those engineers who retired from the Government service on superannuation after the year 2003 at various cadres viz. CE/SE/XEn have not been regularized on the posts at which they retired, till date and are drawing the pension only for the post of AE/AEE”, the speakers regretted.
It was resolved in the meeting that the convener of the Forum should take up the case of regularization of retired electrical engineers with the authorities vigorously.
