JAMMU, Sept 28: Incredible, rather shocking that overt 100 educated youth recruited through proper channel as Class IV employees (Lab Attendants) in ten districts of Jammu region are without pay since Sept 2014.
The aggrieved youth told the Excelsior that they applied for the post after advertisement was published in newspapers and interviews were conducted by the School Education authorities. They were also placed at several places but since then not even a single pay was released in their favour. The Education authorities only gave lame excuses and even claimed that against the particular scheme they were recruited has been withdrawn by the Central Govt. They moved from pillar to post and then knocked the doors of the State High Court but despite clear directions from the Court, their wages have not been released.
They have appealed to the State Governor S P Malik and concerned Advisor to personally intervene and provide them justice without any more delay as their career has been jeopardized. One aggrieved youth Pawandeep Singh from Poonch said that 12 youth were engaged in Poonch district two of them have left the job, but rest are working at their respective places without wages. This is sheer exploitation of the qualified youth at the hands of Govt.
