JAMMU, Sept 29: Property worth several lakhs was gutted in fire, which broke out at Simula Software Solutions and Research Centre in Zero Lane at Vidhata Nagar area of Bhatindi.
As per police sources, a fire broke out probably due to short circuit at Simula Software Solutions and Research Centre at Bhatindi today evening in Zero Lane at Vidhata Nagar area of Bhatindi.
On getting information, police team rushed to the spot and informed the Department of Fire and Emergency Services.
Fire fighters along with tenders reached the spot and after putting in hectic efforts doused the flames, but till then property worth several lakhs got damaged.
In the ablaze, computers, LED, AC, centralized AC, CCTV cameras, modular box station, chairs, tables, carpet, roof ceiling, tempered glass were partially damaged.
No injury or casualty has been reported in the incident, while the exact loss could not be ascertained yet.
Bhatindi police has taken cognizance in this regards.
The fire fighting operation was led by DFO Gandhi Nagar Pritam Lal under the supervision of Deputy Director Command Jammu RC Raina.
