JAMMU, Oct 2: Athrot in a meeting here, today decided to gear up for launching of Kashir Kalakaar Season 3 from first Navratars i. e October 3.
The meeting said a grand finale is scheduled to be held on November 3 this year which will also be celebrated as Raising Day of Athrot. Athrot president, Pradeep Pandita chaired the meeting and Kanwal Peshin renowned artist was given responsibility to conduct Season 3. The Arvin Tickoo was nominated as Team Head, Captain (retd) Mahraj, Upinder Ambardar and Prem Nath Shad where nominated as jury members for selection of awards this year for which
nominations are required for in order to boost the moral of youngsters and honour the community legends whose name has been associated with the award for their valuable contribution in particular field.
The jury will finalise one amongst the nominations for each category received from public up to October 15. The awards included Pt Prem Nath Shastri Memorial Award 2018, Pt. Tikalal Taploo Lok Sewa Samaan, Pt Amar Nath Vaishnavi Memorial Lok Sewa Samaan, Pt. Vijay Malla Memorial Award, Pt Jaggan Nath Shivpuri Memorial Award in the field of Music, Pt Shanti Koul Memorial Award for reviving Theatre, Pt. Kshemender Raina Memorial Award in acting, Piary Lal Handoo Memorial Award in Mono, Pt Sham Koul Memorial Award, Pt Makhan Lal Sadhu Memorial Award in Acting, Gaurav Samaan, Pt Moti Lal Saqi Memorial Award, Pt Omkar Nath Raina, Memorial Award in Instrument Playing, Pt Hira Lal Chatta Memorial Award, Poshkar Nath Bhan, Memorial Award, Kirti Samaan, Prithvi Nath Koul Sayil Memorial Award, Sarwanand Koul Premi Memorial Award and Sharda Saman which will be presented on November 3, 2018.
Speaking on the occasion Kanwal Peshin said children from KP community from 5 to15years will be eligible to compete in auditions which will be held at Jagtti, Bhori, Gangyal, Muthi, Delhi from October 10 onwards and selected singers will compete in semi finals and after qualifying it in Grand Finale on November 3. Winners will be given cash prizes and opportunity to perform in Album and Athrot events in and outside State. Bhagawaan Gopinathji Trust holds painting competition
