JAMMU, Oct 2: BJP held a workers meeting at Gandhi Nagar in which besides a large number of party activists, BJP MLC, Vikram Randhawa also participated.
Addressing the meeting Randhawa threw light on the prevailing situation in the country and Article 35 A. He appealed the voters of Gandhi Nagar to vote in favour of party candidate in Ward No 2 for better future, real development and good planning for area.
Randhawa also cautioned the people of Jammu about the dubious role of Congress, NC and PDP. He said, while the two Kashmir centric parties boycotted the elections as they don’t want that the democracy should be strengthened at grass root level and common man be empowered, the Congress is also in league with them as it too did not field its candidates on maximum seats in Kashmir as well as Jammu region as it too do not want to annoy the NC and Kashmir centric leadership.
Cautioning the people against the double standards of Congress and other Kashmir centric parties including NC and PDP, Ranndhawa asked them why they failed to hold the civic body and Panchyat elections in the State for a long period even during the normal times. These three parties who ruled the State for last 70 years owe an answer to the people of the State.
Randhawa urged the people to teach Congress a lesson as it aliened with NC which has always been against the Dogras of Jammu and were responsible for the exile of Maharaja Hari Singh a great Dogra ruler.
