JAMMU, Oct 4: A tipper driver working with a Stone Crusher has alleged that his master has manhandled and forced him to carry material from the sealed Crusher.
Bali Ram told reporters that on 28th last month he was at his home when Crusher owner Bharti Sharma came to him in evening hours asking to carry material (gravel/sand) from the Crusher which was sealed by the concerned authorities.
“Knowing that this may invite punitive action from authorities I refused to drive the vehicle,” he said adding that this irked the Crusher owner who beat him up and forced to do what he wanted.
The driver also said that after getting his work done the Crusher owner dumped him.
“Somehow I reached my home in wee hours and then visited Police Post Falayan Mandaal with a complaint but none listened to me,” he said adding that after this his family members took him to the hospital for treatment.
Along with his family members Bali Ram demanded that police should arrest the erring crusher owner and take legal action against him.
