UDHAMPUR, Oct 5: A young girl committed suicide by hanging herself at her house at Chak Morh, Chopra Shop Udhampur, under the jurisdiction of Rehambal Police Station.
Reports said that the girl namely Neha (19), daughter of Ronak Kumar of Chak Morh, Chopra Shop Udhampur, was found hanging from a fan hook at her home under mysterious circumstances.
Family member spotted her hanging and immediately called the Police, which rushed to the spot and shifted the dead body to District Hospital Udhampur for the postmortem and other legal formalities.
Cause behind the extreme step could not be ascertained while police registered the case under the section 174 and further investigation going on.
