School found closed, DDC orders deduction of salary of absentees

KISHTWAR, Oct 6: Taking a strong note of the complaints of residents of Dehrna regarding the absenteeism, District Development Commissioner Kishtwar Angrez Singh Rana today ordered deduction of salaries from the erring teachers and ministerial staff of Government High School Dehrna which was found closed by the general public of area.
The public of Dherna informed telephonically to the DDC that Government High Schol Dehrna was found closed and none was present except one class IV employee namely Mohd Rajab. Expressing their resentment, the public locked the school and requested the DDC to take stern action against the erring teachers who are not performing their legitimate duties.
The absentee include Gh Hussain Lohar (Teacher), Yasir Rashid Trak (Teacher), Ghulam Rasool (Teacher), Chuni Lal (Teacher), Gh Mohd Shah (Teacher), Abdul Karim Wani (Lab Assistant) Krishan Lal (Lab Assiatant), Shafa Begum (IVth Class) and Madhu Balla (IVth Class).
Acting on the complaint of the villagers, the DDC accorded sanction to the deduction of the salary from the erring teachers and Ministerial staff of the said school for the period of their absence from their legitimate duties.
Meanwhile, Principal Higher Secondary school is hereby appointed by enquiry officer who shall conduct an in depth enquiry in the matter and shall fix responsibility against the erring teachers/ministerial staff.
“The enquiry officer shall submit his report by or before 15th October 2018 to this office”, the order of DDC directs.
