JAMMU, Oct 8: J&K State Pollution Control Board (SPCB) Regional Laboratory Jammu got accreditation with ISO 9001:2015 and OHSAS 18001:2007 certification on the basis of Quality Management System of the Laboratory and Occupational Health and Safety Management System adopted by it.
Chairman J&K SPCB and Member Secretary SPCB handed over the ISO and OHSAS accreditation certificates to SPCB Regional Director Jammu, Shally Ranjan and Dr. Yash Paul, Sr. Scientist, Head Labs and State Board Analyst.
At the occasion, Member Secretary highlighted the objectives and significance of ISO and OHSAS Certification as this laboratory is the first laboratory in the State to have both these certifications in its credit and also assured to improve this laboratory as a state of the art laboratory of national level.
